Upperco Volunteer Fire Company

Project Details

The Upperco Volunteer Fire Company is located directly off the main response artery, allowing for safe and easy access for response apparatus. The new 20,000 SF station provides the department with five double-deep drive-thru apparatus bays, apparatus support spaces, turnout gear storage, and dedicated decontamination areas for both the first responders and their gear. This layout allows for quick and efficient access for the fire department personnel to their equipment and supplies. The apparatus bay is adjacent to the administrative office spaces, living areas, and bunks, making it easy for firefighters to quickly access their equipment in case of an emergency. For this project, Potomac Valley Brick supplied a Citadel Silver Slate stone from Arriscraft.
